CREATE A POST-SECONDARY PLAN

The process may include sessions highlighting:

  • Common application
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Standardized assessments (SAT/ACT)
  • Campus visits
  • Comprehensive post-secondary list
  • Application essay
  • Trade skills/Apprenticeship programs

COURSE SELECTION

  • Choosing courses throughout grades 9-12 greatly impacts every post-secondary plan.  I look forward to working with students and parents to choose courses that align with future aspirations while being appropriately challenging.

ACADEMIC CHECK-IN

  • Periodic check of academic progress and approach to academics to calibrate alignment with post-secondary goals.  Check-ins can be weekly, monthly, at progress report time, quarterly or annually.

REVIEW FINANCIAL AID AWARD LETTERS

  • Financial aid award letters from post-secondary institutions are not standardized.  I can assist with comparing award packages allowing families to make informed decisions.

COLLEGE-LIFE ADVISING

  • Transitioning from high school to college can be challenging.  Interested in having a school counselor with you on your journey?  Now you can!

Fees

INTAKE CONSULTATION (30 minute virtual or phone conversation) - FREE

VIRTUAL SESSION - $150 *accepted forms of payment: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX)

IN-PERSON SESSION - $200 *accepted forms of payment: cash, check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX)

*Sessions are up to 60 minutes.  To process electronic payments an invoice will be emailed at the conclusion of each session*
